New Project

As a part of the expansion, EKCL has started a new ‘Green’ project named ‘Esquire Knit Composite Ltd’ in Bhaluka, Maymensing. This is an epic project. The particulars of this project are as below:

Initial production will be started from August, 2019. There will be many modern facilities one can ever imagine in a factory premises. There will be executive apartment building with the capacity of 100 people. There will be residential facility for female workers as well under the umbrella of Beyond Border. This is a unique project of Esquire which, promotes women empowerment and rights. There will be facilities like 3D theater, child care, swimming pool, gym, lawn tennis court, yoga court and a running track as well. These will be like a fairy land once the construction work will be over.

Bangladesh is a developing country and it has a long way to go to reach the point of economic stability and prosperity. The company wants to take part in that journey and it means business. The management plans to be a major contributor to the economic progress through exporting ready-made garments. But at the same time the environmental issues cannot be ignored. So EKCL is going for the concept of “Go Green” and working our heart and soul to meet each and every requirement of LEED certification.

The management believes, if we want to do business for long and contribute to our economy, we have to go green with no other choices left. This very mantra drives us and we hope to be the best in our country and an example in the world.
